Week 7 Summary

Our class began with Ryan Lowe, a professor at the Institute, starting us off with a lesson in Adobe After Effects. We began to learn basic animations and how to incorporate multiple layers into a single flowing animation. Ryan had also taken it a step further and showed the class how to incorporate audio files into a Quicktime movie file to add some "humor" to our short movies. As the class began to draw to a close, Ryan left as our usual professor, Regan Brown, arrived at our class. Before the class was to have ended, we went over our midterm grades and reviewed them. I was very pleasantly surprised to learn I made the only A, especially when I went home crying after I took that test (not really). The picture included is a WIP (work in progress) screen shot of my Adobe After Effects .psd file.
